Levels of Teaching
Childhood education, is from grades 1-6. This involves creating lesson plans, following a curriculum, following standards and doing testing.
Early childhood education is much more teaching students basic motor skills and watching them develop personalities.Childhood education is more of building up and helping to mold children into responsible teens.
Secondary education Is more of helping teens continue their education and help them become successful test takers. A lot of pressure is put on in this age group because it is such a crucial time for post high school planning.
Programs
To be a member of the teaching faculty of any institution one must be eligible for the same. In today’s world where academic excellence is given top preference hence making it essential for staff to possess the basic minimum degree in education. The degree is popularly known as B.Ed. which is also pronounced as bachelors of education. The basic objective of this degree includes intensification of the professional competencies of working teachers.
A)B.Ed(Bachelor of Education)
It enables the teacher to deal with and understand every child personally and helps solve the academic problem of it students. Apart from teaching various skills related to students, this course also teaches about student support activities and about school management as well. The course helps teachers deal with the children and understand individual problems as well as their plus points and can help the child focus and improve. The course helps the teacher to deal with the parents and also be a guiding light.
Eligibility :Graduation with Minimum 50 % Marks.(BSc/BA).
* for BEd - Commerce, M Com / equivalent degree is considered as eligibility, because commerce subjects are available at HSc level only.

Master of Philosophy(M.Phil)
Master of philosophy is a post graduate research degree generally held
after the post graduation. It can be defined as the half way for Doctor
of Philosophy. In general the course of study consists of a thesis (same
as the Ph.D.) and 25% theoretical material.

Phd(Doctor of Philosophy)
In India, a Masters degree is required to gain admission to a doctoral program. In some subjects, doing a Masters in Philosophy (M.Phil) is a prerequisite to start a PhD. For funding / fellowship it is required to qualify ‘National Eligibility Test for Lectureship and Junior Research fellowship(NET for LS and JRF) conducted by the federal research organization 'Council of Scientific and Industrial Research'(CSIR) and ‘University Grants Commission'(UGC) .
In the last few years, there have been many changes in the rules relating to PhDs in India. According to the new rules, most universities conduct entrance exams in general ability and the selected subject. After clearing these tests, the short-listed candidates need to appear for an interview by the available supervisor / guide. The students are required to give presentations of the research proposal at the beginning, need to submit progress reports, give per-submission presentation and finally defend the thesis in an open defense viva voce.
